We are avid long-distance hikers and love to be out in nature for a few days on vacation with only our backpacks! For some years, we have also the rather unknown, Mediterranean long distance hiking trails<\/strong> taken.<\/p>\n

The Combination of mountains and sea\u00a0<\/strong>and the possibility to work in beautiful and mostly very individual accommodations\u00a0<\/strong>to stay overnight are always a reason for us to dream of the next hiking vacation!<\/p>\n

Often the Research effort<\/strong> before the vacation, however, quite large and we were sometimes downright surprised that some hiking trails are indeed excellently laid out and well signposted on site, but at the same time remained totally unknown on the net.<\/p>\n

Also the Outdoor and hiking book publishers<\/strong> seem to largely ignore the long-distance Mediterranean hiking trails we love so much: Presumably, hiking trails of six to ten stages are too short to fill an entire book. And the potential target group is naturally smaller than for hiking books, which are aimed primarily at day-trippers.<\/p>\n

Therefore, at some point we started to document one of our hiking vacations online to make us a little more known. The many positive feedbacks have spurred us on to pursue this idea further - and so in the meantime several more online hiking guides have been created! A current overview of our hiking projects can be found at<\/p>\n
